Welcome to Sean’s Newsletter by me, Sean Grogan. Doctorate enroute in Operations Research Polytechnique Montréal in the Département de Mathématiques et de Génie Industriel; I’m building decision making tools yet I can't decide what's for dinner.

I believe in open science and an effort to make the research conducted easy for practitioners and potential users to be informed, interpret the results, and implement the tools and utilities developed. That is, the audience of this blog is for people who might be interesting in implementing the research that I am conducting; such as decision makers, managers, and stakeholders.

Research I conduct is in the fields of operations research, applied mathematics, maps, emergency preparedness, emergency management, and occasionally elections and election management.
